Above average taqueria food. It's our go to place when cooking isn't an option.

It's no michelin star restaurant but doesn't pretend to be one either. Serves excellent Mexican grub, great value and outstanding service by hardworking staff. Recommend sharing portions of food as they are HUGE.

This is my favorite Taqueria in the area. I usually get the vegetarian burrito with sauteed fajita veggies, and it comes out great. They also have a good-sized salsa bar with great salsa. Inside is spacious and always clean. Location is great for when I'm just passing through Oakdale.

I've ate at taquerias across the US and Central America... This is the real deal. Everything is fresh and made daily; from their chips and salsas, to their tortillas and pastor. Amazingly delicious, only wish I was staying in town longer to eat here more.

Best burrito I have tried in my life. And I really mean it. The portion side was quite generous. Besides while you wait, they serve you a complementary side of nachos for free.

I've been to this place before and food was decent but today's experience was very sickening. I found a gray and a black hair in a torte I ordered and found black hair in some nachos. Sick part was other people wating with us had finished before we started finding hairs🤢. I called this establishment and they wanted to see the food for a refund but we had already fed the torte to our dog so needless to say I'll never go back....

Super undercooked chicken still pink and slimmy gave my wife salmanela and nows she is going to have to goto the hospital for it.

In a time when businesses are failing, I was surprised to have reciveved such poor service. As our group approached the door, a woman came out and asked for our order. I said I need a menu and she said they were inside but we couldn't go in. What? I asked how I was supposed to order if I can't see a menu. She seemed annoyed. So we had to waste a bunch of time asking her all about the menu. I ended up with a burrito, but it wasn't really what I wanted. As I was driving away, I saw her let another person in. The burrito was fine. Next time I'll just eat next door.

Worth the stop. The burrito we ordered had flavor. The chips and variety of salsas were very good! The burrito was big enough for 2:)Very Friendly:)The next time we drive through Oakdale we will make sure to grab a bite to eat again:)

One of the guys sings in the kitchen. I think it is the owner. Food is great. I love how clean they keep the salsa bar. The onions and peppers are tasty!!

Best burrito and Mexican fare between Bay area and Yosemite! Oakdale is a perfect stop for a quick meal at El agave...try their ceviche , quesadilla and burrito!

This isn't Justin, it's his boss Christoph. This is my favorite place to stop in America. Burrito w/ chicken and steak, extra spicy. Then they always say what kind of chicken. I say, "pick, I trust you." I've been coming here for years on my way up the hill. It's never ever ever let me down...

Went and got plenty of food asked for sauce and guacamole on side lady said there was come home and there’s nothing. Plenty of chips but no sauce to eat with or guac very disappointing.

I love their cabbage and salsa. Some meals can be a little different than what I am used to but overall they are very good. They are usually pretty fast and polite as well.

Employees were friendly & helpful. Service was fast, even though they were busy. Our food was excelent!
